Thermal Baths

The Cieplice Thermal Baths are a unique complex of swimming pools in the Karkonosze Mountains and the entire region, whose uniqueness lies in the use of famous thermal waters with an unusual chemical composition and temperature on a European scale. The facility uses the same intake as the nearby Health Resort, once visited by crowned heads from all over the world, using fluoride-silicon water from a borehole almost 2000 m deep, which, before cooling and diluting to a level consistent with the Polish Standard, has a temperature of up to 89°C.

Before filling the pools and jacuzzis, the water is optimally suited for recreation and relaxation in the range of 28-36°C. Bathing, playing or learning to swim in warm, but not too hot, water guarantees an invaluable, beneficial effect on the regeneration of the entire body, as well as the effectiveness of massages and treatments. The remaining heat, recovered from hot springs, is used to heat the building, floors, air vents, and central utility water – the facility is therefore fully ecological.

The complex is divided into three zones. The indoor pool zone includes: a recreational pool with hydromassage, a water swing and a "wild river", connected to a swimming pool (4 lanes x 25m), 2 paddling pools with slides and sprinklers for children, two jacuzzis, the "Anakonda" and "Cebula" slides, and 2 thermal pools (Norwegian and Spa) with water loungers and the possibility of swimming outside the pool hall regardless of the season and air temperature.

The outdoor pool area is open in the summer and offers a recreational pool (Park pool) with a family slide, a second tube slide, geysers and a water umbrella, a basket for playing aquabasket and a wooden and green beach with deckchairs.

The whole is complemented by the SPA area, which includes two Finnish saunas with different temperatures, a steam sauna, an infrared sauna, water jets, three additional jacuzzi tubs, a tepidarium, a snow cave, an ice fountain, a relaxation area with heated ceramic loungers and two treatment rooms offering numerous treatments and massages.

In addition, the facility includes a Functional Training Zone, a squash court, a fitness room where various fitness classes are organised, a sports shop and a catering area.

It is worth noting that the price offer of the Cieplice Thermal Baths is one of the most attractive in the country and not only among facilities using thermal water. From the favourable starting prices, a number of additional discounts have been offered – including children's, pupils', students', seniors', for the disabled, as well as family and group discounts. Thanks to many facilities, devices and competent service, the facility enjoys a reputation for being friendly to the disabled. Especially older guests of Termy value the moderate depth of the pool basins and their covering made of corrugated steel, providing stable support and a sense of security. They also appreciate the whole range of water and air massages, which, combined with thermal water and mineralised water in the Norwegian and Spa pools, become a great complement to therapy, relaxation, training or rehabilitation.

Termy Cieplickie is located in the spa district of Jelenia Góra – Cieplice, in the immediate vicinity of two revitalised parks and numerous monuments, tourist attractions, a theatre, walking routes, sanatorium-hotel and catering facilities. Three free car parks can accommodate a total of over 150 cars. Apart from the days when themed events are organised, the facility is open from 8:00 to 22:00, seven days a week, including holidays.
