Golden View

Złoty Widok is one of many places in the Jizera Mountains that offer great views of the Karkonosze Mountains. It has been a destination for walks and views for a long time. The proximity of Chybotek, Karkonosz Grave and Szklarka Waterfall also contributes to the popularity of the place.

The observation deck, opened in spring 2020, is a very attractive place to relax with beautiful views of the Karkonosze Mountains, the Kamienna Valley and partly of the Jelenia Góra Valley. Situated on a rock cliff over 20 meters high, it is an extremely picturesque place. The terrace was created as part of a joint program called Lookout towers, viewpoints and tourist routes in the border mountains, implemented together with the Czech partner - Albrechtice in the Jizera Mountains.

The easiest way to get to Złoty Widok is from ul. Matejki and Wlastimilówki along the blue tourist trail and a short connecting path. You can also go from the parking lot at ul. Jeleniogórska near the Szklarka Waterfall: follow the black tourist trail around Szklarska Poręba, then the Artistic path and then the blue tourist trail.
