It is located at an altitude of 870 m above sea level. in the river valley Jizera. Its landscape and climatic conditions resemble the wilderness of Norway. It is one of the most valuable and wild areas of the Sudetes in terms of nature. The real treasure of Izerska Hala are the peat bogs there, covered with rare plants such as ponderosa pine, dwarf birch and mountain pine. In the Middle Ages, this area was explored by the Walloons, who found gold and rubies in the Jizera Valley.
